Vita -- Vital Information for Talent Assessment -- answers the needs of hiring professionals and applicant tracking with its cutting edge web-based system for the processing and assessment of job applicants. Vita is owned and managed by pan, the world leader in Internet-based applicant and employee testing and assessment. Our core technologies have been applied and extended in the creation of Vita by integrating assessments with other important talent filtering and tracking procedures in an orderly, sequential, and easy-to-manage set of steps and display consoles.

We developed Vita because clients (like the U.S. and Canadian governments and Procter & Gamble) demanded high-volume talent tracking and appraisal systems based on an "integrated services" model. This highlights the new XML-driven web services approach and reflects the state-of-the-art in technology-based global assessment with systems, data flow, and content integration capabilities.

Across the multi-step evaluation program, there are five processes that occur regularly at each step ("Panel") and which drive a dynamic, data-driven program:

Function Job Application
Interface Job Application Form (e.g., web delivered in HTML or in Java Applet)
Data Input Direct online keyboard and mouse input of responses by applicant on JAF
Decision Analysis JAF is captured and compared with Minimal Qualifying scoring criteria
Communication Applicant notification of status by auto-e-mail triggered by decision rule and concurrent background communication of information to other requisite authorized users or databases
