Vita features a flexible Job Application Form (JAF) Panel based on the HR-XML Consortium data exchange standards.
Candidates access the JAF for the position of interest from the client's web site career portal. Since the JAF is web-based, candidates can access it around the clock, even completing it in multiple sessions if desired. Employers benefit from the sourcing of a candidate pool with a demonstrated high level of interest and the automatic capture of candidate information in a standardized electronic format.
The JAF is configurable across job classes and can be used in conjunction with O*NET and other job classification, skills standards, or competency systems. Vita implementation consultants work with clients to customize a library of JAFs to meet their specific needs.
Additionally, the JAF can be dynamically scored. Items are developed which capture a client's Minimal Qualifying Criteria (MQC). Job applicant responses to these items are automatically evaluated and can be used to update advance/decline decision status and trigger the forwarding of e-mail status notifications to the applicant. Automated e-mail requests to complete online biodata, skills, or integrity tests can also be made contingent upon meeting MQC on the JAF.
JAF data are available for review in Vita Console and can be exported to other applications.
